WindowLooking out my window, I watch the children play.Window by Leaf-Star
So young and innocent they are...
And I think to myself "Remember when you were
like that? Do you remember the you before your innocence
was taken away? Broken and shattered,
crushed beneath the world. Do you remember?"
I ask my tattered soul and,
Looking out my window, I watch the children
And I watch my tears fall on the
windowsill as I hear the children's
laughter turn to screams of such pain, and
Looking out my window, I watch
As their innocence is taken away, as mine
once was so long ago.
And I cry when I realize they will never
have it back.
And I cry when I realize their laughs will
never sound the same as they did when
they were still children, not knowing that
They will be broken too.
DreamsIt is dark. So very dark. And the sound of the sea carries from far away. I know you are near, but you have not made yourself known to me. I think of my boyfriend, so far away in another state, but then I think of nothing but you as your arms surround me. Your lips press themselves into the back of my neck. I shudder, and you spin me around. Desperately I reach up to kiss you, my fingers in your hair, your hands on my waist. Your lips taste like salt. They taste like the sea. It consumes me, every inch if me burning with your touch. My lips throb with yours.. But then I am falling. Falling.. and when I wake up.. you are gone.Dreams by Leaf-Star
